Hey guys,
I tried looking on the CIC website to find answers, but I guess my situation is a bit odd.
I came to Montreal in 2010 to do my M.A in Child Studies at Concordia, it was a two-year program, and I finished in May 2012. But immediately after, I applied for a Graduate Diploma in Journalism, which is a one-year program at Concordia.
1. Am I eligible for a post-grad work permit next May when I graduate, and how long would its validity be?
2. Does my education qualify for the Quebec Experience Class requirements? Will the government also take into account my previous two years here in Montreal, or not?
Any help is greatly appreciated. I will be going to the International Students' Office at Concordia Monday, but I'm too worried and too anxious to wait until then, so I'm looking for some answers now.
Thanks,
J
