Hi guys,

Im just new here. Me and my husband got Married last August 2010, Now we are waiting for our authenticated marriage certificate so we can proceed to our application.

Here is my situation.

We met online way back October 2005- Met in real Jan 2006.. since then he always visits me every three months, overall he visit me 11 times for 5 years and this year we decided to get married.

Now my question is

1. Before i applied for trv and caregiver's visa and the two application was solicited! .. i read some forum site that multiple of entry will cause refusal! soo i hope this will not be a problem!!

2. We get married sunday, and we have a beach wedding.. in a resort here.. but on my marriage cert it says that we married monday and the marriage was held in trial court coz the judge said there is no sunday marriage in philippines. so what i will gonna do now? i will just at ease whats written on the marriage cert??

3. We had a big age gap. but we had lots of evidence that our relationship is geunine! DO you think almost 5 years in relationship is enough to satisfy them that our relationship is genuine??!? and do you think age gap matters??

Thats all for now guys.. Please help me, coz i really cant sleep thinking about this...

I am not clear on what you are asking with regards to the first question..so can you please explain further,,,

As for the wedding date, you can put the same date as the marraige certificate. The location can be any where..most people get married in different place, but the certificate is always issued by some local office.

The relationship can be a month or can be 10 years..what matters is the information \ proof you submit to convince the IO that it is genuine. Submit as much information as possible.

Good Luck.

Your prior attempts to enter Canada can be an issue. In your case you will have to ensure you have a TON of evidence to prove the marriage is genuine, especially from your side. The fact that he has visited you 11 times is great. You will also want to stress what YOU have done to develop the relationship.

As for the wedding date, you could say you were married on Monday, or you could say you were married on Sunday and explain why the marriage certificate has a different day. I would suggest the latter - it's always best to tell the truth.

As far as your age gap, it's not as serious if your husband is older than you. Again, you must make sure there is a lot of evidence of a genuine relationship. In our application, we each wrote personal letters about our feelings for each other and our future plans. This is where you can address some of these issues. Did you apply as a caregiver to be close to him? If so, say so! Does he see no problems with your age? He should write why he feels it's not a problem, or even an asset.

Look at your case objectively (as you are doing), try to figure out the red flags and have evidence to support why they should not be issues.

Congratulations on your marriage, and I wish you a speedy visa!
