Hello:
I´m new at this forum, I would like for someone to help me clarify the points for my education.
I studied 11 years from 1st to 11th grade. At dntal school 5 years and 1 year of practice to graduate.
After I went to Mexico and studied for 1 year and a half for a Specialty in Endoperiodontics.

How many points do you think an officer would award me.

Please help!!

Thank you very much

No just a Specialty in Endoperiodontics. And by the way I thank you very much for such a quick answer. Could you please tell me If I can bring along my mom, since I´m the principal applicant not my husband and I have a 2 year old son.

Thank you in advance.

Hi

as far as i know, u have to apply and get PR, once you move there, you can sponsor your mom, but it takes something like 3 years.

This is my understanding, i have no experience in this.

Unfortunately, it sounds like you will get 20 points only.

Read this:

Medical doctor degrees are generally first-level university credentials, in the same way that a
Bachelor of Law or a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology is a first level, albeit “professional”
degree and should be awarded 20 points. If it is a second-level degree and if, for example, it
belongs to a Faculty of Graduate Studies, 25 points may be awarded. If a bachelor's credential is
a prerequisite to the credential, but the credential itself is still considered a first-level degree, then
22 points would be appropriate. It is important to refer to how the local authority responsible for
educational institutions recognizes the credential: i.e., as a first-level or second-level or higher
university credential.

So is your specialization a degree? if yes, does it belong to the graduate school? What did you get at the end of your studies?

By the way, as long as you get at least 67 points, it doesn't matter if you get 67, 68 etc. Hope you can get 67 points with 20 points for education. Also are you applying under FSW 1, if yes, is dentistry part of the ministerial list?
But isn't an Endo-periodontist a specialist dentist, which is not one of the jobs on the "list"
