unfortunately, i have applied for visitor visa in new york and it has been 44 days and i dont know how to get my passport or visa. they dont answer for my email i've send more than 10 emails with no response, the last time i called the they said still processing time, and im tired and sick of calling them every morning, please find me solution for my situation

no way to find out. honestly, just e-mail them......same situation here. if they are happy they e-mail you back your file number and status, if not..............

i already sent them more then 1000 emails with no answer but i already have my file number. do you think that is helpful for me to check it online because i could not check it at all if you can help me with it.

If you got your file no., then there no need to worry about, at least that mean your documents are safe. Just wait for their decisions........What else do you want to do?

man, i mailed mine on Sep. 24th, they get it on Sep 27th. It has been 50 days..........I just wait. I cancel my thanksgiving plan. This is life. It sucks.

If you're emailing them excessively, no wonder they aren't responding.

on facebook, search for "Consulate General of Canada in New York". You will find the page of the NY consulate. Again, not sure if this works... You will see several posts from frustrated people, waiting to hear back from the consulate.
