Please help me out.surname issue

Hi, I have a query
I have my surname with my first name on my passport (e.g. Amit Sharma)while in my acedemic records my first name accompany my middle name only (e.g. Amit Kumar)
Is this need to be corrected or wouldn't cause problem in future during documentation for express entry program.
Need suggestions on earliest.

Get a notarised affidavit that states your name (as on passport, with passport name page as exhibit), and mention that your name in education documents is Fname+MName (with education document showing Fname+Mname as exhibit) and solemn state you are the same person. This is a standard affidavit which can be easily made for little cost.

Send this notarised affidavit along with your education documents to WES for ECA, and also while filing your eAPR highlighting the same in your Letter of Explanation with eAPR.
