hi all
I'm having a trouble filling out the tuition and available funds fields in the IMM1294 form
i got accepted in a one-year Graduate program at Algonquin college ( according to the letter of acceptance the first semester fees are 8800 CAD and the estimated expenses + tuition for the whole one year program is 17600 + 12000CAD living expenses = 29600 CAD)
i have already paid the first semester tuition (8800) and received a receipt letter that states the tuition paid will be used to register me for the first semester
the problem is after paying the 8800, i currently have around 12000 CAD left in my bank account ( my brother will sponsor the 2nd semester & living expenses since i'll be living with him in Ottawa)
my question is: is it okay to fill in the fields in the IMM1294 form with the following information:
- TUITION: 29600
- ROOM & BOARD:
blank since i'll be living with my brother)
- FUNDS AVAILABLE FOR YOUR STAY: 12000
- MY EXPENSES IN CANADA WILL BE COVERED BY: ( Other ) sibling
Also, is it possible that my application may get rejected due to insufficient funds ?
