Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
With 71 points, you are eligible to apply if you also fill the criteria for one of the 3 categories, that is, you have experience from the list of 38 most wanted or you have a job offer (AEO) or you are already in Canada as a temporary worker or student for 12 months.

Dear Friend,

I do not have a Job offer in Canada. I am in Saudi Arabia working as IT Coordinator. As mentioned above (my designations), could you please let me know if they are listed under 38 most wanted occupations? I will be applying based on my 1 year part time experience. is it ok?

Best Regards,

Hemant

it seems to me that the only way you can apply for a PR in canada is category 3 which is to have AEO, otherwise you have a very slim if not no chance at all to apply for PR cause your working experiences doesnt fall in any of the 38 list of occupations. but if theres a will theres always a way... good luck! :D

Dear Friend,

Following are the NOC codes of my Work Experience:

Call Center Executive: NOC - 1453
Associate (Technical Support Agent): NOC - 2282
Software Trainee: NOC - 2173
IT Coordinator: NOC - 2171

I have seen my occupations listed and match with these codes. Please advice further.

AEO is category 2, see http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled.asp
Category 3 is for students and workers already in Canada :)

I agree his chance is getting an AEO but he could also go in on a student visa for one year and then apply under cat. 3.

For AEO, you need to find an employer who will apply for it for you. It's basically a verified job offer that you can use to show immigration that somebody in Canada want to hire you, see http://www.hrsdc.gc.ca/eng/workplaceskills/foreign_workers/supperimm.shtml

For a student visa, you need to find a program you want to study, get accepted, prove that you have enough money to pay for tuition and support yourself and prove to immigration that you will return to your home country when your studies are completed. See http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/study.asp

the only occupations being entertained by CIC these days are the ones on the 38 list of occupations if youre work is not on that list and you dont have AEO or didnt live or work in canada for at least 1 year you dont have any way of applying for PR in canada its sad but true...

@ hemant,

the fact that job of cook is included and not yours is because canada has workforce shortage of cooks which is more severe than the shortage of workforce of your type of work...... also to be on safe side, ontinue the part time for next year to make it equivalent for continuous 1 year full time work. and go canada under student visa and then you will never have to look back if u truly want to migrate.....

goodluck
