Hello,
my name is Yama and I'm German citizen. At the moment i live in Germany and i would like to move to Canada, not only to study there but also to stay there and get PR. The problem is that I just can't afford a 4 year degree because that would be way too much, and I can't get a student loan which gives me the amount i need to study for 4 years and live on my own. So i decided to go to a Community College. But I'm not sure if it's really worth going to a Community College, to get PR and finding a good job afterwards. I first planed on doing a Diploma in Quality engineering technician and then to apply for a post graduate work permit. Is it a gd idea ? Furthermore i dont know how to write a letter of explanation because i want to work after graduating. PPlease help !!!

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
The last thing you want to do when applying for study permit is to tell them that you want to stay and in the future become a PR.

If the community college you chose is good for working part time on campus your first 6 months and eligible for the off campus work permit after your first six months, there is nothing that would stop you from applying to one.

The post graduate work permit also depends on accepted school. You need to do your research on http://www.cic.gc.ca

Hi Yama,

I am a university student and to best of my information, university students are preferred in comparison to college students. Secondly, never mention that you had like to settle in Canada when you apply for visa.Instead your statement of purpose should highlight in some way that you will come back to germany. Provinces like Saskatchewan (SK) provide PR easily as compared to Ontario and BC because they are densely populated. On the other hand , SK is very very cold. You might like to check with university of Regina and University of saskatchewan. They might not be as expensive as other universities.
Secondly, if at all you had like to chose a college for financial reasons, then check with Dalhousie or Concordia university first. Seneca college is good and cheaper.
