13th June 18 - new employer in Calgary submitted LMIA, they are still awaiting the call for the interview
I have begun collecting all documents ie employer reference letters etc for when the times comes that I can apply for the visa.
18th August 18 - Had medical up front medical visa.

Was far too organised in applying for the police certificate and that was issued 26th June 2018, I have read somewhere that is has to be within 3 months of applying for visa.
I am still awaiting for staff certification from Alberta Government to state I am qualified for my new role.

Once I get the positive LMIA and staff certification I will be ready to apply, once my ex employers have responded ! The I am guessing I will get a request to go to London and get biometrics done. The 7 weeks application time for the actual visa.

Some questions.
I will be applying for temp foreign worker visa, closed permit.
I am applying from the UK.
Does anyone have a link to a list of contents that has to be included in the job offer and employment contract. My new employers have sent but I want to check they are 100% before I submit?

On my document list on CIC one section asks for "Employment reference letters" and another "Employment records" in the guidance it sounds to me that these are more or less the same thing? Can anyone advise?

Can I submit my application online and then go to VAC in London, or do I have to take all documents to the VAC when I go for my biometrics?

I know I will have to sort Health Insurance for the period before I can register for medicare, which is straight away in Alberta, so was thinking of insuring myself for 1 month. I want to still insure myself for medical emergencies and repatriation (hopefully will never have to claim). Anyone any ideas on this? Will a months cover satisfy immigration?

Thank you so much for reading this and please if you have any guidance please do share.
