Please help for Medical

Hi All,

I have few questions regarding Work permit, there are as follow:

Yesterday I have received a letter and my passport from Canadian High commission New Delhi saying that I have to for medical examination. I have done that and tomorrow again I will submit my passport and medical receipt to VFS center.

So my question is what does this mean, is my application approved because I got this letter after 9 working days or they can ask any other thing as well?

PS: I got my positive LMO last month and my employer eagerly waiting for me

What employer you got the LMO from? which city is it?

You should get a WP since u have a positive LMO; it will all depend on ur medicals now.

Do you know how much time it take to get WP after medical. Presently I am in India and applied my WP from New Delhi India.

Once the medicals are done, the reports are sent to the visa office and then they make the final decision. You should ask the doctor when the reports are being sent and from there about 2-3 weeks should be the processing time.

Today, I checked in the VFS office and they said after medical it will take 5 working days to get the WP . I am hoping for the best.

As I mentioned in my first post that my employer is waiting for me.

Medicals reports went to High Commission on last Thursday evening.

Did u apply through the VFS office in delhi - you will be contacted as soon as the reports are matched to your file.

Yes, I have applied through VFS. They (VFS) said you will get your passport with in 5 working days. Today is 5th Day.

My concern is can they (Canadian High Commission) ask any thing as well after medical.

I contacted the Medical center and they said that my report is fine and they forwarded to Delhi.

I am sure VFS has shipped out your passport to your mailing address. The faster way would have been if you opted to pick the passport from the VFS office...anyhow the Canadian Embassy does not contact normally after the interview and medicals are the last step...only if they need more queries to be sorted/answered - the person is contacted.

wait for a week or so...am sure u will get the passport in the mail.

Just I got Medical letter and that I have completed. Honestly speaking I am worried!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I traced my medical report and I found it has reached today (Friday) morning to High Commission.

Hi Deepak,

Yes I got my WP. After medical it took 10 days to get my WP from CIC.
