My mother has been in Canada for 4 months her 6 months stay ends on February 1st 2017 and her visa expires in October 2017. I wanted to apply for her visitor's extension for 6 more months as I am pregnant and need her here. The document checklist on CIC asks for extension form IMM5708 and supporting documents as only passport and proof of funds and digital photo. But there is nothing that asks for reason of extension. I am also confused about Proof of Means of Financial Support. Can I show my financial details? I am foreign worker but am not working right now. My husband is a foreign worker too can I show his Proof of Means of Financial Support????
And what should I do for reason of extension?? I have a letter from my doctor but CIC didn't ask for one should I submit that or should I leave it??
