Hello,

Please help !

I am on Contract full time job which will be end in May,2017. I want to apply for sick benefit (in March,2017) + Maternity leave (after birth of baby in June 2017).

But,my contract job will over in May,2017 so do i still eligible for Maternity leave? or does my contract job over will affect me to apply for Maternity leave ?

Please advise me,

You are eligible for EI maternity benefits regardless of your job status (contract ended, laid off etc.) just based on how many hours you have worked before you put in for leave.
