I recently got married post AOR and adding my wife as a dependent to my file. I have got a reply from IRCC for a host of documents including her birth certificate; the challenge is that its in Hindi and without her name (common occurrence in India). The translators are ready to translate the document without her name.
I do not know what is the appropriate way ahead.
(I cannot really apply for a non availability of birth certificate from our local office as we actually do have a birth certificate; without her name but all other details like her parents names and date of birth etc. And I also think there is a rule that states that you cannot edit any birth certificate post 15 years of birth)...
Can someone please guide me the appropriate way ahead?
