Hi,

My Conjugal partner is applying for a visitor visa. I have two questions: should I indicate myself as common law partner? we have not lived together for one year, but we are qualified as conjugal partner. Also I'm not sure what exactly Statutory Declaration of Common-law Union [IMM 5409] form is? Do we have to fill it?

No - don't indicate yourself as a common law partner. If you haven't lived together for at least a year then you are not common law in the eyes of Canadian immigration.

you are going for the visitor visa.They want you to prove that the applicant will return.Saying that you are partners will make things worse.They will probably just reject it and tell you to apply under family sponsorship.
