Hello,

I enrolled in a graduate program in fall'14. I took more course load in the first two semesters and now for the next two semesters i.e. fall'15 and winter'16 my status will be of a part time student at the university as I'll be enrolled in less number of credits/courses.

Does my status as a part time student in the last two semesters of my program affect my application for Post Graduate Work Permit in future?

Yes - being a part time student can affect your eligibility for a PGWP. Based on what we've seen here as well as CIC's rules, if you part time in your last semester only - then you'll be fine. If you are part time your last two semesters - there's a big possibility your PGWP will be refused.

too bad :(

I am in a weird situation now.

There is no way I can be a full time student in my last two semesters :(

You should make sure a full time study..

I saw one guy who took a semester based on part time, and then his pgwp was refused.

Be careful..

hmm then i should take more courses outside of my degree to maintain my status as full time...more expenses :(
