Please Help CIC Fingerprint!

we had AIP 2months ago (Inland),we were just waiting for my Unaccompany step kids Medical result to come thru CIC , they already receive it since March 18 2013 as oversea medical takes some time, we sent as well her new passport copy to CIC as they requested because her old passport will expire this month on the 23rd, everything else has been submitted FBI 5months ago,Her home town police clearence 2months ago I think,Her Medical 5 months ago nothing was left but RFPRF we were just waiting for the "Decision Made"
and almost 2 weeks ago (March 26 2013) my wife (principal applicant) has an email to do the finger print and send the original to CIC Vegreville, and she done the Digital fingerprint the next day at our local RCMP, by next monday CIC should have the result from RCMP,I'm just confused the fact in the letter didn't say Do the RCMP fingerprint or anything they just said set of fingerprint and send the original to vegreville as soon as possible.
I also want to know how long maybe will take to decision made after this fingerprint I know 100% my wife doesent have any criminal record at all event speeding ticket lol,
I will appreciate anybody help

This letter refers to your application for permanent residence under the Spouse or Common-law
Partner in Canada class.
In order to continue processing your application in Canada, further information is required. You
must complete/submit the following to the Case Processing Centre:
[X] As part of this application process, you are required to provide a set of your fingerprints.
Please check the following CIC website for further details:

Call Centre, toll free, at 1-888-242-2100. Please submit your original set of fingerprints to this
office as soon as possible.
The information requested above must be received at this office within 60 days. If these items
are not received, your application for permanent residence may be refused and no further
consideration will be given to your request for permanent residence unless a new application,
including fees, is submitted.
