Thanks for giving me your time. I recently got PR Visa and i am trying to gather information on how to sponsor my mother-in-law. My Mother-in Law has been in Canada for 7 years. She was a Student and later got a 3 year work permit. but was not fortunate to get PR at that time. I recently graduated from university and i started working full time in 2014. I am very confused of how much funds i needed for her application. Nevertheless i intend on submitting her application next year? Please Lovely Seniors give me your advice. Thanks

You cannot sponsor her. Only your spouse can sponsor her. I assume your spouse is either a Canadian citizen or PR? You can co-sponsor along with your spouse.

In order to sponsor your mother-in-law next year, jointly, you and your spouse must have made sufficient income in Canada in 2015, 2014 and 2013 to meet the low income cut off amount. Do you meet this income requirement?

You can apply for the super visa now if you meet the low income cut off.

If you did not start working full time until 2014, then the earliest you may be able to sponsor her for PR will be 2018. Of course that depends on how much income you and your wife are making jointly.
