Please help about spouse of skilled worker

Hi everyone,

I have questions about my status in Canada. Me and my girl friend were under common-law for over 4 years. I received a worker permit through my girl's help. The work permit has remarks: Temporary resident status maintained as per R183(6), Spouse of skilled worker. My girl friend broker me up one month ago. Is this work permit still valid till stated expiry date? I already submitted my PR application to EE pool under being single and receive the invitation . Can I still apply for PR?

In my opinion, you should let CIC know the situation. If they say its not valid, you can still apply new open work permit through your ecpress entry AOR.
