Hi everyone,
Can somebody tell me what I should do.. My situation is I just recently changed my last name from married name to my maiden name, so I updated my id’s driver’s license, health card etc. except the pr card and passport.. I talked to Cic I asked them If that’s ok to submit my application for citizenship even if i didnt updated my name on pr card and passport they said its ok as long as I have explanation and proof of changed name.. Now the problem is they need 2 ID’s right and they said it should be on my new name, I asked could it be my manitoba health card cuz I have my driver’s license they said yes! so im happy cuz this is only the last option I have cuz If im going to update my passport it will take 3 months to get it from my country, I dont wanna wait that long, but i checked the manitoba health card at the back it was saying “ not a form as provincial identification” I dont know what to do now.. Do i still need to submit it ? I can’t reach them
by phone they are so busy..
