Please guide

I am the primary applicant who applied in the CEC class(inland) and currently residing in Canada with a dependent child and my spouse is living in the USA.

I have received an Instruction letter to submit passport to VFS USA and it has my name(Primary applicant). I have not received an email yet commonly referred to as (portal email 1). I was expecting that I and my child would receive an email to confirm if we are in Canada as we are the inland applicants. And my spouse will get a passport request letter.

  1. Do I need to submit passports for all three of us? or just my spouse
  2. If I travel to the USA then do I have the option to submit my passport along with my daughter's and husband's passports even though I applied as CEC (inland) and get Copr?

Both suggestions should not be done. Your adult spouse will receive her own RFV letter, if her details are not explicitly listed on the one with your name. If you submitted the application as an inland person, you should contact IRCC and tell them that you and your dependent are inland.
