Hi there ,
Can FRAUDS change their name and could enter to Canada?
I reported to CIC about immigration fraud. Now , there is question in my mind. The person (fraud ) was living in US for almost 10 years. its almost 6 month ago he left US. He changed his name ( in his home country not sure legally or not but he made documents different name )then got married with Canadian (marriage fraud) .
So , can he enter to Canada with new name? Do CIC will be able to see his NAME and history in US? if not than In this way any fraud could change there name and could enter to Canada.
A clean criminal record doesn't mean not criminal activity.... luckily , some criminal not get caught.
The bottom line is that do applicant have to inform CIC about their names history ? (what names they used in past)
Thanks

Yes, applicants need to inform cic about all names used from their past. Cic is very good and checking on people's backgrounds, and if they are made aware of a 10 year gap in time, they will ask for more proof regarding identity and previous whereabouts. This person will have a hard time sneaking by, especially if they attempt to leave out their previous name.

Is it me, or does it seem Issa and Laila H are both talking about the same person?
