as m going to start with packing,so before doing this some queries from experts and other mmbers..
enfield,royalsting,ad singh, rupak n all other please give comments..

1.) shud i take laptop and cellfone from here or buying there is gud option???

2.) what kinda clothes shud i take with myself??

3.) can i take medicine with myself with doc pescription,general medicine of cold cough fever etc??

4.) shud i apply for international drving license in india, or i can apply there only??

5.) shud i tak international medical insurance from india??

1). Laptop from there, cellphone doesn't matter.

2). Winter, woolen and a few summer ones. Don't jam pack your bag, keep it lite and buy cloths from there instead. You will get cloths of trend and fashion from Canada then India. Else you might feel like a marshian.

3). Yes, you can and you should carry all the required medications.

4). Your local license would be good for approx 2 months, international I don't know even I was planning to apply here. But even getting an international would want you to appear for test there to get G leve license.

5). Does your college fees include the insurance? (Humber college does, may be yours too will). If not you can take help of your college there to get an insurance.

NO I DUN THINK INSURANCE IS DERE IN COLLEGE FEE AS NUTHIN LIK TAT IS DERE IN OFFER LETTER,,N ONE OF THE AGENT HERE TOLD ME TODAY TAT GOVT OF INDIA PROVIDE WITH INTERNATIONAL INSURANCE IN WHICH MEDICAL CHEK UP IS FREE DERE N NOT ONLY THIS U CN CLAIM TICKET TOO IN CASE UR PARENTS HAV SUM PROB HERE N THEY CN EVEN CLAIM TICKET IF M HAVING SUM PROB DERE ...SO WILL IT BE BENEFICIAL????

I agree, even I will apply for it but I am not sure what will be its validity in Canada. It might be valid for 2 months or for more even though Indian authorities provide validity of 1 year.
