Hello Everyone, I had this incident on entering Canada that I need clarification on.
In the form that everyone is required to fill on entry, I indicated I will be in Canada for one month. I remember the immigration officer wrote a big V12 on the form and allowed me to go through into Canada. Please, What does V12 mean? The only stamp on my passport bears the date of entry.
Because of the purpose of my visit, I now realize I might need to stay for more than one month - maybe up to two more months. I have a five year, multiple entry visa.
Do I need to let immigration Canada know that I will be staying for more than one month? I am aware the maximum time visitors can stay is six months. Am I covered by this?
Thanks for your response.
