My Wife holds a Valid Visitor Visa till 2014 , She got it from NewYork when She was working in US with a reason to visit (Tourist and Meeting friends).She is back in India now.
Now We are married and I want to call her here as my dependent, My Parent company in india is asking to apply dependent visa with a reason that Visa was not processed by the company and its not a dependent visa.
Currently I am aware that if she travel today she can enter canada where Immigration office will decide how much time she can stay ,a cording to me its max 6 months.
But according to my colleagues and have also seen if Visitor visa is filed as dependent she can stay more than 6 months as Immigration officer most probably put stamp on passport or give visitor record equivalent to Husband WP expiry date.
Question - As she is already holding a valid visa which was filed on Tourist basis , Can she apply again ? If yes what will happen to Old visa?
