Hey everybody.

I am 18 years old. I have explained my story in detail in my other post. I am getting married to a 28 year old guy. (Skipping the details, it's consensual, families approve, head over heels in love, not seeking validation - please refrain from negative comments)

I have been accepted to one of the top universities in BC, Canada. Had a high school avg. of 90%, secured scholarship, 8 bands in IELTS etc.

The guy I am dating presently has the following qualifications:

1. 10th and 12th (high school) percentage: just above 50% (2007)
2. Bachelors of Commerce percentage: around 48% (2007-2010)
3. Executive MBA percentage: 70% (2012-13)

Has been working for 5 years continuously with a leading NGO based out of New Delhi, with international donors as Program Manager, and a very big national firm (crores of turnover) with a similar job profile.

IELTS expected result: 6.5 (shall be released tomorrow)

He has been admitted to a few colleges and universities for PG Diploma as well as to a university for Masters.
Please comment about his chances for Study Permit Approval based on the academic grades. I am thinking that it is a terrible profile and will end up rejected.
If he gets rejected, I shall be left with no other option but to withdraw my admission.

PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR VALUABLE ADVICE, anything would be appreciated!!

Also, suggest any alternative methods for him to accompany me either as a Visitor or Spouse on Open Work Permit

If you have further questions - please post them in your existing thread rather than starting a new one. Creating multiple posts on the exact same topic is bad forum etiquette - especially when people have already responded to at least some of the questions in your original thread.

You also have to learn to be a lot more patient if you want people to help you. It can often take many hours for someone to answer - even a day or more. People are offering their help here for free, have jobs, have families and aren't available 24/7 just to answer your questions. Expecting answers immediately and bumping threads is also poor forum etiquette and can make people less inclined to help you.

If you want fast answers times (as it appears you do) - I would strongly recommend that you hire an immigration lawyer who can give you the immediate assistance you're looking for.

You both are good to go with your profiles .

Just make sure your choosed course / work exp. is rellevant to your previous studies .

You can't guaranteee a acception or refusal on your own , as it totally depends on the Visa Officer . People with far bad profiles get their visa .

And you shouldn't create multiple posts as said by Syclla.

Hope that helps :)
