Hi all,
I am from India (Hyderabad) and would like to pursue higher education in Canada this year. Here is my profile:
10th class: 69%
Intermediate (maths, physics, chemistry): 65%
Degree (B.Sc computer science) : 62% (passed out in 2003).
IELTS: 8 bands.
Age: 30.
I have been working as a medical transcriptionist since 2003 till date. Have few doubts which I hope will be clarified through this forum:
1. Went to few consultancies and they said that with a study gap of more than 5 years, the chances of getting visa is low. I would like to know if this is really true?
2. I thought of pursuing MBA in Canada but came to know that since i have only 15 years of education, I am not eligible for directly applying to masters and instead do a post graduate diploma program to be eligible for masters. If this is the case, what are the options in front of me?
3. Based on my work experience as a medical transcriptionist, which courses should I opt so that the chance of getting a student visa is high and there is less chance of a study mismatch.

What is the best way for me to proceed from now onwards. Seniors in this forum, please give your valuable suggestions. Thanks in advance.
