PLEASE ADVISE WAITING FOR PASSPORTS & VISA

Dear Senior Members,
Please help me regarding my case.
Applied in : Jan, 2009 (Through Consultant in Canada)
Received AOR Full Application & Documents sent to CHC Delhi : February 2009 ( Did not send PCC from Oman)
Received Medicals PPR+ PPR +Schedule 1 for my son+ Travel declaration forms+ RPRF draft: May 2009
Not asked for PCC Oman
Sent Medicals PPR+ PPR +Schedule 1 for my son+ Travel declaration forms+ RPRF draft: 22-05-2009
Received RPRF draft back because of spelling mistake in draft : 04-06-2009 (Not asked for PCC Oman)
Sent new corrected RPRF draft : 04-06-2009
Draft cashed on( as informed by Bank) : 18-06-2009
Received PCC from Oman : 26-06-2009
Sent PCC from Oman to CHC as advised by Consultant & Ms. Camilla Jones(Trackitt) & other senior members of this forum : 29-06-2009 Received in CHC Delhi on 30-06-2009(as shown on Courier tracking)
Till now I am waiting for my PASSPORTS & VISAS.
Please advise how this will affect my case, will it delay the issue of Visa?
Any advice/suggestions & OPINION will be highly appreciated.

I dont think there is any issue here, since you suppied the PCC so it should be fine..
In fact you did good by sending the PCC else you never know - they would have considerd it is as misrepresentation.

Now as far as waiting for the visa is concerned , its been 3 weeks roughly since u sent the passport and barely 2 weeks since u sent PCC - I am not sure but ur PCC may be under review /it might be put into que which is obvious as it involves extra process of reviewing ur PCC again.
In either case its too early to predict anything.

I suggest u wait for 1/2 weeks and then write an email to CHC ND - I hope u will get ur PR soon!!

you definitely did good by sending the PPC, even if they did not asked yet. They could consider misrepresentation as it was said. They did not asked yet but you showed you have nothing to hide and is playing by the rules. this could really delay a little bit if in case they made a mistake but you had no other safe option really,

Thanks for your replies.It seems I have done the right thing by sending the PCC from Oman.
Please let me know why it may cause delay as I have already sent my Passports+RPRF Fees (cashed on 18-06-09) + travel documents+ Schedule 1 for my son Rahul + Medical done report to CHC Delhi on 21-05-09 (received on 22-05-09), shouldnt my verification & security check been done as CHC had not asked for any vew document till now.

The only reason i said it may take some time was due to the uncertainity associated.

There can be two scenarios -

1) since ur passport was on way of being stamped , now my guess is CHC received this PCC before they sent out the passport so they would have looked into the PCC or the associated document which you would have sent - since everything ir perfect in your case this shouldnt cause much delay.

I am most certain that this condition is applied in your case, they will certainly look into that PCC.

2) Another possibility is that they may ignore this PCC and send your stamped passport as for them process was complete.

however i assume that they may have looked into that PCC which might cause 1/2 weeks additional.

Again this is purely hypothetical analysis but one thing for sure that you will get ur PR soon , there is no cause for concern here as everything has been crystal clear from your side.
