Hi, would appreciate any help with this matter.

I am 1 point short from the 67 points to be eligible for the express entry pool.

Is it recommended to enter the pool and hope for a provincal nomination?

Also, I am an Industrial Engineer with education and 10+ years of related work experience from the USA.
Unfortunately I do not hold a US green card, and left back for my country 3 months ago.

1. I am considering flying to CA on a tourist visa and look for a job. Any suggestions?

2. Are there any provinces that I could apply to, with my background, with 66 points?

Maybe I will say something that you already know, but I will try. Give IELTS again, with so much experience in US , you should take a better score and increase your total points

I really need a very high score, and I am trying.
Ielts can be very tricky. Thanks again buddy

The other option is to wait another year so you can increase your experience points , but maybe giving IELTS again will be faster/safer.
