Plase help me to made enquiry for work permit application at sri lanka

I applied for temporary work permit application at sri lanka on last 14 of december. But it s stated on web site processing time 60 days. Now it has become more than 75 days . now i am working at abu dhabi...I dont have any file number to made enquiry,,, please if some one having this expeirience share with me,,

Are you sure you don't have a file number? you should, it is UCI or client number, you must have one if you applied. How did you apply? was it online? how did u pay for it? do you have a receipt? in case you do, there has to be a number, if after this you figure it out, call CIC and ask. I imagine also there must be many applications from your country, so it might take a bit longer.

Thank you very much for your kind reply..I have submitted my application through consultant at sri lanka, that company is having liesen to do do canada immigration works. But according to him , he has sent equiry to embassy on last 14 of january. still there is no reply from embassy for that enquiry..even i did not receive any file number from them. Other thing is after i submitted my application , I faced ielts exam ..But still my consultant did not hand over that to embassy..My consultant saying he has to wait untill embassy reply...I was really fed up with this and my employer is asking what is the status of work permit...I really dont know what i have to do.... I am sorry for the disturbing youuu

Hate to hear that, I did all the process myself exactly because I don't trust consultants or lawyers. Your consultant must have that UCI number I was telling you about, is he asking for more money? I understand you completely, I would be fed up too with all this. Sorry I couldn't help you more.
