My fiance is Malaysian who resides and works in United States after graduation.
I am planning to submit the PR application within Canada.
But in order to do that, I need to bring her into Canada first as my spouse.
What type of visa should I apply for, single entry valid for 6 months?
Does she need to show evidence that she is going to leave Canada when it expires?
I don't want to be separated with her, how is the officer supposed to be convince and issue her a visa
without any evidence that she is going to leave Canada?
Should we be upfront to the officer about our plan tell him that I plan to bring her into Canada as a spouse and file a PR within Canada?
Would the officer deny issuance of TRV if we are being honest about our plan?

Please advise, greatly appreciate.

To apply for TRV, she will have to show proof that she will leave Canada once the visitor visa expires. I do not know if the officer will grant a visa if you are honest or not. But in 90% of spousal applications for a TRV, they get rejected.

Plus, you really have to think this through. Do you also want her to quit her job if she is staying with you? Applying in-land is longer than applying out-land. Once she gets TRV, she cannot work or study until she gets PR. She wont have healthcare coverage either.

1) Have you financee continue to work from the USA. At least it's nearby. Your fiancee will not be able to work, study, or have access to medical care.

2) Start on your Outland application for Spousal Sponsorship today. At least look into the documents you'll need to translate into English or French. Singapore Visa Office has a 28 month processing time.

3) It's going to be hard, but you can only visit each other under the process has been completed.
