Planned to do Walima in Canada !

Hello, we did nikah and Ruksati and planned to do Walima in Canada. Will there be any problem if we mention that we haven't done Walima in Pakistan in our sponsorship application? My wife lives in Canada, she is sponsering me and we are planning to do Walima in Canada in few months.
