Place of Issue on US Passport?

Hello,

I am filling out the Canadian Citizenship application. In filling out my passport information, it asks for "Place of Issue". I do not see any place of issue on my US passport.
However, there is an "Authority" that says "United States Department of State".
Is this what I put down?

Yes " United states Department of State" that's what i wrote. No issue yet
