Dears,

Me and my wife completed our PR process recently. But we came to know that for my wife the place of birth mentioned in CoPR is xxxx and when we completed immigration we mistakenly mentioned yyyy. Will it be a problem for getting her PR card ? do we need to report this to CIC ? kindly clarify.

Which one was the mistake - the CoPR (xxxx), or what your told them (yyyy). What's on your wife's passport?

What we told to the immigration officer(yyyy) is wrong. The passport and CoPR has xxxx as the place of birth which is correct.

Ok, and did the officer say that he is correcting the CoPR? It's possible that he ignored it because he must have double checked with your passport.
