Hey, i have completed my studies in canada and now waiting for my work permit. I was wondering if i can get my pilot training while i am on my work permit or i have to get a study permit to do that?

No, i was planning to get a commercial pilot license. I called a flying school here in winnipeg and they said as long as i am allowed to stay in canada i can get a pilot license. So i am a little confused here.
