Pictures for Common Law applying outland using USA guide- piercing

Hello!

I just went to get my pictures taken for sponsorship. I have a septum piercing that is very hard to remove, as it is pressure locked. I was wondering if any one has info or past stories or reliable sources or anything, really, on sending in the 4 pics with a visible facial ring?
I already got the pictures taken and I know obviously the most reliable thing to do would be to remove and retake the pictures, but at the same time I did not find any info on the guides about facial rings, or online, or anywhere.
Does anyone have any idea?

I'm not sure why it would be an issue. I never thought of having to take out my nostril stud. Is this really a thing?

As long as your ears are visible it's okay. I heard that's their main point of orientation to verify a person. I've had my photos taken with my nose ring on in some of my tourist visa applications and I gained entry with no problem.
