Hi,

I have a master’s degree in nuclear physics and I worked as a physics teacher and tutor for four years.
Can anyone help me which NOC best works for me ?

The NOC for a primary or secondary teacher. If you teach at the college or university level, then that one. All on the the NOC database.

In those NOCs 4031 and 4032 they mentioned a bachelor’s degree in education is required. However, I have a masters in physics. Wouldn’t it be a problem?

Not for Express Entry, if you are eligible and have enough CRS points for a nomination.

thanks for your information.
do you know anyone with the same experience that I can contact ? I mean a person with science degree who worked as a teacher and was invited to apply ?

there is another NOC called other instructors with the code 4216. The last two examples of the job titles are secondary and elementary school subjects tutors, but there are no duties related to tutoring in the descriptions. Do you have any suggestions about this NOC ?

You can apply with the NOC. You just can’t be a teacher in Canada unless you are licensed.

With a master's degree in nuclear physics and experience as a physics teacher and tutor, the most suitable NOC for you would likely fall under categories like Secondary School Teachers (Physics) or Physicists. Depending on your specific teaching experience, you could also look into roles related to college-level instruction. For an exact match, you can search the official NOC directory to find the most accurate classification for your career profile.
