Physical presence exemption for citizenship by descent?

Hi all – I’m a US citizen working on my application to become a Canadian citizen. My dad was born in Canada, so I understand that I can obtain citizenship automatically. However, the application requires me to fill out the “Physical Presence” form. But I have not ever lived in Canada. How do I handle this when submitting my application? Thanks all!

You are completing the wrong application. You need to apply for proof of citizenship.
