I recently applied for a PGWP and on following stupid instructions from a lady at an administrative office at my university, used my unofficial transcript to apply for my post grad work permit. Lo and behold, it has now been refused for not providing 'sufficient proof of completion of program'

I now have my official transcripts and letter from university stating I have been granted a degree. What I don't have is another month to wait for my visa to get processed. So I'm hoping to do it at the closest border. My status in Canada is valid until March 2017 and it hasn't yet been 90 days since I graduated. So here are my questions:

1.Am I still eligible to apply for a PGWP at a border?
2. Which border would you suggest going to, close to Toronto? And can I contact that specific border office in advance? Can I walk across the border and get this done? (Don't own a car yet)
3. What additional documents should I consider taking this time around?
4. Is the unofficial transcript possibly the only reason for rejection?

Any help is greaaaatlllyyy appreciated!

Stay blessed!

1. Yes, I think so

2. I don't know Toronto
You cannot contact the border in advance
Yes, you can just walk through some borders

I recommend you to heck on CIC website which borders are processing inmigration paperwork and operation times

3. Same as per PGWP application but official and anything else you could get, just in case.
Remember a letter stating when did you earned your diploma

4. Most probably. You could try call CIC to confirm it was the only issue (recommended)

You could apply for GSCM notes but probably you won't get it on time

I recommend you going to the border ASAP!
