I recently applied for a PGWP and on following stupid instructions from a lady at an administrative office at my university, used my unofficial transcript to apply for my post grad work permit. Lo and behold, it has now been refused for not providing 'sufficient proof of completion of program'
I now have my official transcripts and letter from university stating I have been granted a degree. What I don't have is another month to wait for my visa to get processed. So I'm hoping to do it at the closest border. My status in Canada is valid until March 2017 and it hasn't yet been 90 days since I graduated. So here are my questions:
1.Am I still eligible to apply for a PGWP at a border?
2. Which border would you suggest going to, close to Toronto? And can I contact that specific border office in advance? Can I walk across the border and get this done? (Don't own a car yet)
3. What additional documents should I consider taking this time around?
4. Is the unofficial transcript possibly the only reason for rejection?
Any help is greaaaatlllyyy appreciated!
Stay blessed!
