Photos to apply for first passport

Hi all,

I am just wondering when you apply for your Canada passport, do you need to take new photos? When we applied for citizenship, we are required to submit 2 pieces of photos but that was more than a year ago. Just wondering.

Well, photos for a passport have to be < 6 months old, and have to be signed by guarantor who writes on the back. Plus the standard stuff as per application photos about date and all.
