Just going through the country specific instructions for Argentina, and it says the applicant must include 8 photos of each member of his/her family and of themself.

Does this apply for every member of your immediate family, even if you have no kids with the sponsor, and your family (mother, father, brothers) aren't getting sponsored?

My fiancee has 3 brothers and mom and dad in Argentina... we don't have kids. I am wondering if her family is defined by "our" family together (just us)... or if she needs to include pics of her parents and siblings?

Hey Huxley,

Can you be more specific. What I mean is are they asking for passport sized photo's (well not passport sized photo's but very similar) or are you talking about proper sized photo's i.e 7x5 or 6x4's?

If you are talking about the passport sized photo's (once again the photo's similar to passport photo's but not exactly the same) then it is relating to your immediate family (Wife/ Husband and dependant children).

You will however have to check the country specific requirements as it does vary from country to country. Also when they talk about Police checks and medical assessment's they are referring to immediate family (CIC phrases the word immediate family badly) Husband/ Wife and dependant children.

Good luck :D

The Term Family refers to your spouse and/or children. :)

The eight photos you're talking about are the Immigration application photos, you need a set of 8 for each family member you are sponsoring!

If any member of your family is already a Canadian citizen you don't need to sponsor them, neither will they need those photos.

Family means your children and spouse. I don't think it means mom, dad, sis, bro etc etc
