photoes problems

hi guys
I am preparing my papers now to send them to chc directly when I receive my AOR from CIO.....I prepare the photoes of my spouse and mine.....and because my wife has a cover on her hair....so her photoes are less than one mm from the crown to chin and less than 1 mm from top of her head to her chin....no way to make it better than that..in other words it's:
24mm from chin tp crown
30mm from chin to the top
my question....is that a problem for CHC|?||| plzzzz urgent help....

Hi,

I think you should go to an experienced Studio Photographer and he will provide you the required photographs. Is there some specifications prescribed for Photographs in cms/mm? What is the link? plz share.

CIC would want the pic without the 'Shaila'. Plz see if u can do that. Else, proceed as per the 'dimentions' of the CIC & maintain 'over' 50% of the face on the pic.

We as Moslems,it's impossible for us to show our women's hair to other men but their husbands..so how could send my spouse pics witout that cover on her hair...??????????

Keep that cover, but try & get the pic exposing the max 'frontal face' over 50 % of the periphery of the photograph. Go to a good photographer, they'd know. And take the 'photo explanation' page with u.

I have read your comments and has lot of respect for your religion.I have lived with Muslims and understand them completely

First:-

1) You are moving to the new country,u have to comply to their rules.
2) By not complying to the rules,visa officer,at the time of interview, might ask you questions about your religion and if he sees rigidity in your answers, he will anyway reject you.Remember,CHC would not understand religions other than Christianity.





Play safe:- Send another photograph with right specifications,do not give them any chance to reject your application.

There are hundred of thousand of practising muslims who have gone through immigration and living in Canada with head cover on all the time. Visa office knows that hey are dealing with thousand of different languages, cultures and believes. No one has to change to comply with what 'CIC' wants, rather CIC give room to accomodate legitmate socialogical matters. Go ahead, do your best and apply. I am sure there wont be any problem.

Yes, there are thousands of Muslims living in Canada.But everybody knows whats happening to them in France.How France is trying to pass laws to ban Burqua in their country?Not only that they are also trying to ban Turban,which is worn by Sikhs in India.How a Sikh boy,who delivers pizza in USA gets beaten because he was mistaken for some Afghan and police refuses to file any case.How tolerant they are towards other religion is known to everybody in the word?I don't want to take this thread in other direction.

Photo Problem:I think the best think for you is to got to pakistan forum and speak with the people,who have actually made it to Canada along with their families.They are the best people who can give you the right answer.
