Hi folks,

Question 6/F in the citizenship application form states, among others, that "If you answered yes, you must provide photocopies of your work and/or education records."

Because I have worked AND studied in the past 4 years, what kind of work records are they looking for? I've already gathered photocopies of my transcripts/diplomas for education records, but I'm not sure what the work records are as I don't think it's stated in the guide.

When I rang CIC to ask that very question I was told to provide at least one payslip or T4 for every calendar year.

Thanks! I guess I'll go for the T4 (the slips would be overwhelming :D).
The more you have , the better. I provided all T4's + NOA and an employment letter from my current job since Feb 2012. But if you have T4's only that's good as work record.

I included T4's and Notice of Assessment for the past three years (since landing), as well as a letter from my current employer.

On the education side, I included copies of diplomas, and official school transcripts. I also checked off the box to use these as proof of language requirement.

One more question:

What if you were working and studying at the same time and at the same place? When completing my Master's degree, I was working as a teaching assistant as well as was studying as a graduate student... Must both be included, or the one that covers the most of the period?

you need to include both and make sure you check "study" and "work"
I guess it's a silly question, but how would you list overlapping periods...? The strangeness of it may come with the fact that work and education overlap and the dates will look as if they have gaps when in fact the gaps are covered by a larger time period. For example, if I worked from September to December 2012 and then from May to August 2013 while completing a Master's degree from September 2011 to December 2013, then which one would you write first? Or does the order even matter?
