Dear colleagues,

I along with my wife and two kids (4 years and 1 year) landed in Vancouver at the end of December 2009. After couple of days, we returned back to England to complete my study. I gave the postal adress of my relative in canada while lnading. My relative in canada already received three PR cards but not of my son. At the begining of April 010, immigration office in Vancouver sent a letter mentioning that my son should be attend in person to retake photo.

Right now, I am outside canada and also not possible to come back within another 10 months.

I need suggestion in the following two questions:

- Is it possible to submit the photos of my son through my relatives in canada?
- If not, how can I bring my son with me when I come back to canada next year?
- What happen if my son missed the photo retake deadline (i.e. 180 days)? and the status of his PR card?

Thank you very much. Hope, I will get your feedback.

It is important for me to know how long it will take to process my card after re-taking photos and will it be sent via mail or I have to stay in to pick in person?.
I have to plan my this trip accordingly as full migration will take place in next year somewhere. If I have to pick in person then can this be processed on urgent basis. Just to mention again this is my initial PR Card and not a renewal.
