I wanted to enquire please about the photo requirements for online citizneship applications.
My question is that the image size requirement is 420 x 540 pixels. However, my understanding is that this is based on a 35 x 45mm photograph size that are typically required in visa applications. For citizneship applications the photogragh should be 50 x 70mm.
I just wanted to clarify if everyone is going by the 420 x 540 pixels, or different pixels that reflect the 50x70mm dimensions?
It also appears that they now allow to upload a scanned photograph (where my understanding this was not possible in the past).

- You may upload a picture of a printed photo that the photographer took (for example, with a scanner or mobile phone).
- maximum file size of 4 MB
- maximum image size of 420 x 540 pixels
- file format of JPEG, JPG or JPEG 2000
