When writing the name on photo, am I suppose to write as it appears on my immigration document or the name I want in the citizenship certificate?

As it appears on your immigration form, your photo ID's and your application. It should be the same name.

Personally I think writing the immigration document name or the requested name for the citizenship certificate does not make a difference.

However given its CIC, I have seen peoples application been rejected for silly reasons. So its better to get a second opinion before applying

You can change your name after granting citizenship. It will cost 140.00 bucks, but it also could simplify your citizenship process.
