Hi there.

Most things are done and I am told that medical expires one year after we accomplished it.

With the Ukraine scenario and what not have a few questions.

1. If I am not approved before October, I understand the medical will have to be re-done. Does this mean you will have to pay for it all over again yourself or will the IRCC cover it since it's not like they are waiting for anything from me.

2. What if I am "Approved" in August / September. I am going to need perhaps 2-3 months lead time to actually be ready to leave and organize everything. Will the approval/visa be valid for longer than just October? Can we still redo the medical to prolong how long we have or are we pigeon-holed into rushing everything when the approval comes in.

3. If I have to redo the medical do we just a book a new "medical" here and they will send the updated information to IRCC? I assume the "approved landing/PR documents will have their own expiry.

4. I am trying to find it again but I found a link that lets you send them a note to give a reason for extending the PR landing. I can't find it. Anyone else use this ? It might be in the GCKEY which is currently down lol.

Thanks!
