My step son is coming here as a dependent on a spousal PR and the check list says that the NBI should indicate "issued for visa Canada".
My son completed the form but the option only shows Purpose = Abroad or Normal. Where is this mention "issued for visa Canada" supposed to be and where do we show it on the NBI application. Thx for your help

Hi! I had the same issue with my online NBI application. I selected the 'Abroad' option since there wasn’t an explicit 'Issued for Visa Canada' choice. Afterward, I went to the NBI office to request the annotation. You can also contact them online or visit in person to get it added. Hope that helps!

If you're applying for an NBI online for Canadian immigration, selecting 'Abroad' should work. If ‘Visa Canada’ isn’t an option, you can clarify it during biometrics.
