PGWP update

Initially, as announced by IRCC into the second half of year 2020, International students that deferred from May 2020 intake to September 2020 intake and September 2020 intake to January 2021 intake are allowed to study online outside Canada until April 31st, 2021 and still be eligible for the PGWP.

However, IRCC has further improved on the measures that International students can now study online outside Canada in entirety of their programs until December 31st, 2021 and still be eligible for the PGWP.

Thus, only International students that are enrolled in a PGWP recognized DLI and meets all PGWP requirements are eligible as stater by IRCC.

Thank you for sharing. I have one question btw. Would it eligible for applying PGWP without having a valid study permit then?
Because the international students will complete the course outside of Canada, which means they don't have any chance to validate the study permit.
