In theory why not but you might need to expand on what the status of your spouse will be when your PGWP expires for a clear answer.
In your other thread re PGWP you state that you will be doing a Masters 1/2018 through 1/2020 so if you get a 3 year PGWP we are talking here 1/2023 so apart from fact rules can change the predicted status of your spouse in 1/2023 becomes key.
