Hello

I am a PG diploma graduate and i will be applying for my PGWP at the end of this month (JUNE).
Am planning to apply SOWP for my husband as i am already working as a test specialist.

1. My Husband will get Open Work Permit or PGWP permit?

2. If he comes here and studies after this Open work permit gets over. will he be eligible for PGWP once he completes his studies?

3.I know PGWP can be applied only once by any student. Will my PGWP and the SOWP that he gets through my PGWP affect my Husband's PGWP even after he studies here for a year?

Please help me

To the best of my knowledge:
1. Your husband will get an Open work permit but in the application for his open work permit you have to include your PGWP and your job offer letter (which will enable CIC determine if your job is of skill type O, A or B)
2. After he completes his study he is still eligible for PGWP
3. No (as this will be his 1st time applying for a PGWP)
